iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G and iPad 1 From iOS 5.1 To 5.0.1, 5.0===========step3

Step #6: Now, Connect your iOS Device to your computer and follow the on screen instructions to put your device in DFU mode.

Downgrade iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G and iPad 1 From iOS 5.1 to iOS 4.3.3 / 4.3.5 / 4.x

What You Need:
  • Your Saved SHSH Blobs for the firmware you are downgrading to.
  • Download Redsn0w [Windows / Mac]
  • Download iOS 4.3.5 / 4.3.4 / 4.3.3 [Download only the firmware you have saved your SHSH Blobs for]
  • Download iTunes [Windows / Mac]
  • Download TinyUmbrella [Windows / Mac]
Step #1: Connect you iOS Device to your computer, Launch Redsn0w, then Head to Extras > Pwned DFU and follow the on screen instructions to put your device in DFU mode.

Step #2: Here we are going to fool iTunes into thinking that it’s connecting to Apple server’s while it’s really connecting to Saurik’s server.
Windows Users
Head to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate the file named as “hosts”, Then open the file in Notepad.

Mac Users
Head to Finder > Go > Go to > etc > “hosts”, Then open the file in TextEdit.

Add the line below at the end:
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
Step #3: Open iTunes, Hold the “Shift” button in Windows or “Alt” in Mac, click on restore and point iTunes to your IPSW.
Step #4: Some times, iTunes will throw 1013 error, just ignore it as it’s very normal when downgrading. Now, your device will be in Recovery Mode with your desired version of iOS fully installed.
Step #5: You will see a screen like this [recovery mode loop]. Just open TinyUmbrella to kick your device out of recovery mode.
