As you all know, Apple has recently released iOS 5.1 to the public along side the new iPad. If you have updated to iOS 5.1 and hasn’t been satisfied with what it had offered or you want to go back to Untethered Jailbreak. Here is how you can downgrade your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1, 5.0, 4.33 to have Untethered Jailbreak.

What You Need:
Step #2: Point iFaith to your saved SHSH Blobs.
Step #3: Now, Point iFaith to the IPSW corresponding with your saved SHSH Blobs [ iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.0].
Now, iFaith will verify your IPSW.
Step #4: Click on “Build IPSW” then iFaith will start cokking your custom IPSW signed with your SHSH blobs.
Step #5: Click on “Proceed”.

- You can Downgrade from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1 /5.0 using custom [COLOR=#0072bc !important][COLOR=#0072bc !important]firmware[/COLOR][/COLOR].
- You can Downgrade from iOS 5.1 to iOS 4.3.5 /4.3.3 /4.x using custom firmware.
- You must have your saved SHSH Blobs of the firmware you are downgrading to.
If you have an iPhone 4S, the basic rule above is really the only rule: you cannot restore back to 5.0.1 once the 5.0.1 signing window is closed, no matter what (even if you saved your SHSH blobs).Downgrade iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G and iPad 1 From iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1 / 5.0
If you have an iPad2 with saved 4.x hashes, you can in fact downgrade to that 4.x but you won’t be able to get to 5.0.1 once the 5.0.1 signing window is closed (even if you saved your 5.0.1 SHSH blobs).
What You Need:
- Your Saved SHSH Blobs for the firmware you are downgrading to.
- Download iFaith [Windows].
- Download iTunes.
- Download iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.0 for your iOS Device.
Step #2: Point iFaith to your saved SHSH Blobs.
Step #3: Now, Point iFaith to the IPSW corresponding with your saved SHSH Blobs [ iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.0].
Now, iFaith will verify your IPSW.
